We’ve Been Spotted!

Acrylic on stretched canvas. Approximately 53 X 45cm inc. frame.

The pattern on the frame makes me think of the fur of a predator – framing his target as he prowls in the grass.  Okay, I know there are no tigers in Africa!

The zebras are great. I like the readiness of them, looks like they will be taking off in any second.

Nonyeb says: I like the warmth of the range of orange, plus the central band of grass/scrub in a complimentary tone of purple.
And I think that the zebra have been limned well too.

desktopwhiz says: I love the unusual color pallete, and the way the striped zebras stand out on it. A striking contrast that really catches the eye…
